These terms set the ground rules for using the WantBuilt marketplace and related services.
Acceptance
By accessing or using WantBuilt, you agree to these terms and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account, publish content, or take on work through the platform.
Accounts and identity
An account is required to publish, apply, or submit challenge work. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and remain responsible for activity under your account. Do not impersonate others, create deceptive accounts, or bypass platform safeguards.
Role of the platform
WantBuilt provides discovery and collaboration tools for requests, challenges, builders, and FDE services. Unless a listing expressly says WantBuilt is the delivery provider, project agreements are between the requester and builder, and WantBuilt is not automatically a party, employer, or agent.
Content and intellectual property
You retain rights in your original content and grant WantBuilt the permission needed to host, display, reproduce, and distribute public content for operating and promoting the service. You must have the rights needed to publish content and must not expose confidential information or infringe intellectual property.
Acceptable use
Do not publish illegal, fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, harassing, malicious, spam, or privacy-invasive material; disrupt the service; scrape restricted data; or use the platform to harm others.
Projects, offers, and payments
The parties to a project should agree on scope, pricing, payment, milestones, acceptance, confidentiality, and intellectual-property transfer. Unless a specific service states otherwise, WantBuilt does not guarantee offers, delivery quality, payment, or project outcomes.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict, remove, or terminate accounts and content that violate these terms, threaten users or the service, appear fraudulent, or must be restricted by law. You may stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimers and limitation
The service is provided as-is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WantBuilt is not responsible for user content, third-party conduct, project disputes, or indirect losses. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
